They catch and remove 99.9% of microparticles from the environment.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"post_list_p\">It\u2019s so effective that clean rooms are essentially classified based on the number of particles allowed per cubic meter of air.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"post_list_p\">Clean rooms sometimes use Ultra Low Penetration Air (ULPA) filters, which provide even higher filtration that can catch particles invisible to the naked eye.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading post_list_h3\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%97%8F_Airflow\"><\/span>\u25cf <strong>Airflow<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"post_list_p\">Clean rooms have specialized airflow systems to control the movement of air and keep the environment clean. There are two types of airflow:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Positive pressure airflow:<\/strong> The air pressure inside the clean room is higher than outside, causing air to flow outward when doors are opened. This prevents contaminated air from entering the clean room. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Negative pressure airflow: <\/strong>The air pressure inside the cleanroom is lower than outside, causing air to flow inward when doors are opened.
